Washington’s Reckless Rookie

18 Aug

Newly drafted Washington Redskin offensive tackle, Trent Williams, will face a reckless driving charge. This year’s 4th overall pick in the National Football League draft is on point to be the Redskins starting left tackle this upcoming season.

The Washington Post reports that the incident took place on Sunday, June 6 at 1:10am in Fairfax County where Williams was ticketed for going 35 miles over the speed limit. The Washington Post reports the speed was 90 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Williams will go to court next week. If convicted the punishment will likely result in having his license suspended for six months.
