Antonio Bryant Still a Thorn in the Side of the Bengals

9 Sep

Former Cincinnati Bengals WR Antonio Bryant was released by the team just months after signing 4 year contract worth $28 million. Now a free agent, Bryant is looking to take actions toward the team for his quick release. After receiving $7.85 million from the Bengals without playing a single down of football, Bryant has now file a grievance to get more money.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Bryant’s agent filed a grievance against the Bengals for $3.1 million.  His reasoning for the grievance was because he feels the Bengals are still obligated to pay his client $1.55 million in base salary and $1.55 million for a roster bonus.
