Saints Lose Starting WR In Opener

9 Sep

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that New Orleans Saints starting WR Marques Colston will be out at least 4 weeks due to a broken collarbone. The injury was sustained in the NFL opening game against the Packers. Colston caught 6 passes for a total of 81 yards.

His presences would be missed, maybe not as much since the Saints like to spread it around.

HOF Defensive Lineman Dan Hampton’s Poor Choice of Words

6 Sep

NFL Hall of Famer Dan Hampton may need to think before he speaks next time, if there is a next time. Dan Hampton said on a show called Pro Football Weekly that “The Vikings need to go down there and hit that town like Katrina”, referring to the upcoming matchup between the Saints and Vikings.

That’s a WOW what was he thinking moment.

Hampton poor word choice is highly offensive to the thousands of New Orleans residents that had to live with the pain, deaths, and heartaches from Katrina. And he should make a public apology immediately.
